MONTEPULCIANO, ITALY

In the early 1960s, the first vines of Montemercurio were planted by Damo, the grandfather of the Anselmi family. Since his passing, the Anselmi family has planted over 7 hectares of vineyards. The goal of this winery is to keep the traditional flavors of Montepulciano in their wine while respecting the land.

Vin Santo Di Montepulciano D.O.C. “1990”

Yellow amber color with reflections orange, with scents of dried fruit, figs, candied orange peel and honey. In the mouth is a very long and persistent with sweet finish but accompanied by A fresh and pleasant acidic note.

Straw yellow wine, with grapefruit, mint and tropical fruits aromas. In mouth is elegant, with a good sapidity, it’s able to age in the bottle for several years, improving and acquiring great personality.

Aromas of ripe fruit, cassis and blackberries, enhanced with traces of tobacco, chocolate and sweet spices. High quality tannins, 

Charged with elegance and body, which render the wine extremely adaptable to lengthy aging.

Ruby red color, scents of cherry with elegant spicy and vanilla notes. In mouth is enveloping, good structure with tannins of
good quality, soft and juicy.

The wine comes with an intense Ruby Red, With scents of fresh fruit, cherry, marasca and floral notes. In the mouth it has fresh, fruity flavors and a soft and pleasant finish.
